ABOUT THE COMPANY
 
The history of technical education system in Bohemia is at the same time the history of ČVUT Prague
and it has lasted nearly 300 years.
After year 1960 ČVUT Prague had 4 faculties: Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and today's Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering. In 1976 Faculty of Architecture has been established as the fifth faculty. Since 1993 when Faculty of Transportation Sciences was established ČVUT Prague has 6 faculties and workplaces and purpose facilities with all university scope - like Masaryk higher studies institution, Klokner institution, Computer and Information centre, Business and innovation centre, Management of purpose facilities, Publishing ČVUT Prague and today's Institution of Biomedicine Engineering. The field workplace of Faculty of Transportation and Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering has been opened in Decin in 1995. There have been founded Research Centre of Industrial Heritage and Institution of technical and experimental Physics ČVUT Prague in 2002. In 2003 Centre for Radiochemistry and Nuclear Chemistry has been established .
 
 
PROBLEM
 
ČVUT has central assets register only in the system FIS. That's why the unified register of buildings pasport is not monitored. The buildings documentation are in the paper form stored in the archives. Every part (department) of ČVUT has own rooms marking and that's why it doesn't exist a unified identification of rooms in ČVUT. There is no interconnection between economy system and buildings pasport.
 
Solution
ASP supplied GTFacility system to ČVUT that serves to the building documentation monitoring and to implementing of a unified areas register based on agreed number sequence for the rooms identification. The interconnection of data with so called "Vymenik"(Interchange) to ensure the interchange of rooms code lists data with other IS ČVUT components has been implemented in 2006. Buildings, levels and rooms pasports have been gradually filled into GTFacility system. The registers are divided into 16 parts (rector's office, faculties, other subjects). The digitizing of 100 building has been done till 2005.
 
The goal of the project is :
bodgradual collection and actualisation of data about construction and equipment of buildings
bodinterconnection of rooms with personal system and through this monitoring and planning of placing and register the areas with people and departments
bodinterconnection data about buildings with the contracts and other documents
bodregister of inventory
bodmonitoring expenses related to the buildings
